The brewery was founded in 2012 and is located in the heart of South West London next to Wandsworth Common Railway Station. We produce a range of premium US style hand crafted beers using the highest quality hops, malts and seasonal ingredients. Our beer reviews exceptionally well and we have become one of the fastest growing craft breweries in London, working closely with prestigious operators such as the Drafthouse, Youngs and Majestic Wines. The brewery recently expanded to a 20 BBL ABE plant with 5 fermenters, 2 conditioning tanks and a canning line. We brew and package all of our beers on the premises where we also have our Brewery Tap. Taproom Manager

Roles and responsibilities

Belleville Brewing Co. is hiring a Taproom Manager. We are currently on the lookout for a well presented, enthusiastic Manager who has a real passion for craft beer & entertaining. As well as the opportunity to sell beer where it’s made and to get a real insight into the brewing process, this is also a great chance to get into a growing business as we expand the taproom hours and introduce events over the coming year. The applicant should be a dynamic and creative person with experience in the bar-trade. They will need to be able to supervise a small team, handle stock control and have the ability to organise and hold events at the brewery Taproom. The Taproom currently opens from Wednesday to Sunday.

The candidate

Talent/Skills/Experience preferred:

  • Articulate, well-spoken and comfortable presenting to lots of people;

£28k starting salary. Other benefits include pension and company bonus.

Senior Brewer – Full Time

Roles and responsibilities

Reporting to the Head Brewer, you will be given responsibility to manage all aspects of the brew side of the business. This will include:
  • Brewing our full range of beer range;
  • Managing the brew plan with the Sales team to ensure availability of the best selling stock and seasonal favourites;
  • The overall state of the brewery and the maintenance of the brew plant;
  • You will have oversight of all aspects of the brew process including management of the canning, kegging and casking of the finished product;
  • Management of junior staff;
  • Responsible for the day-to-day running of the brewery from ordering supplies, equipment maintenance, stock management and local deliveries when required; and
  • You will provide support to the Sales team in representing the brewery at customer meetings and meet the brewer events.
After an initial induction period to become familiar with the beer range and brewery equipment, and provided that you show the right aptitude in your role, your responsibilities will increase to include greater oversight of the brewery. This role will become a key member of the Brewery Management team and will provide the right candidate with the opportunity for personal development as well as becoming an important part in the future success of the business.

The candidate

Roles & Responsibilities Reporting to the director, you will be responsible for both the hot and cold parts of the brewery and should be conversant in dry-hopping and other cold-side techniques including the addition of fruits and flavourings. You will be responsible for the overall state of the brewery and the maintenance of the brew plant.  You will have oversite of all aspects of the brew process including management of the canning, kegging and casking of the finished product. The Candidate: You will have experience of working in a brewery( at least 10BBL). You will be passionate about the craft beer scene and you will have passed elementary exams in brewing. You will be looking to take on additional responsibility and have the motivation and confidence to push yourself. Due to the physical nature of working in a brewery, you must be physically fit and able to lift and carry loads. We are looking for a dynamic and responsible individual who is keen to develop in this role and become a key member of the Belleville team.  

Starting salary will be relative to prior experience. Other benefits include pension and company bonus.
