The brewery was founded in 2012 and is located in the heart of South West London next to Wandsworth Common Railway Station. We produce a range of premium US style hand crafted beers using the highest quality hops, malts and seasonal ingredients. Our beer reviews exceptionally well and we have become one of the fastest growing craft breweries in London, working closely with prestigious operators such as the Drafthouse, Youngs and Majestic Wines.

The brewery recently expanded to a 20 BBL ABE plant with 5 fermenters, 2 conditioning tanks and a canning line. We brew and package all of our beers on the premises where we also have our Brewery Tap. Sales Director

Roles and responsibilities

We have grown the team in the brewery and are looking to expand the business over the next few years and require an enthusiastic and experienced Sales Director who can drive this growth for the business.  You will be a key member of the management team with responsibility for overall sales strategy and for growing the sales team to support expansion across local, national and international accounts.  Key responsibilities will include:
  • Developing a long term sales strategy to grow the business aggressively over the next 2-3 years in order to achieve ambitious sales growth targets;
  • Identifying and developing new sales opportunities via on trade, off trade and direct sales channels in the UK and overseas;
  • Establishing strong partners and developing the distributor business;
  • Developing strong day to day relationships with existing trade customers;
  • Regular rporting on actual sales vs forecast and adjustments to the pipeline for target sales;
  • Building and managing a Sales team to nurture and maintain local sales and develop national and international accounts; and
  • Working with the management team on marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness of Belleville Brewing Co, locally, and across the UK.

The candidate

  • Highly motivated individual with a proven track record of delivering growth in a senior sales role ;
  • Excellent organisational & time management skills;
  • Able to demonstrate knowledge and enthusiasm for the brewing & craft beer industry;
  • Excellent relationships within the UK food and beverage industry;
  • Self-motivated, excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong sales & negotiation skills;
  • Competent with IT and capable of working with spreadsheets and presentation software;
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to use commercial knowledge to increase profit and business growth;
  • London based preferable;
  • Able to work flexible hours and travel; and

Senior Brewer – Full Time

Roles and responsibilities

Reporting to the Head Brewer, you will be given responsibility to manage all aspects of the brew side of the business. This will include:
  • Brewing our full range of beer range;
  • Managing the brew plan with the Sales team to ensure availability of the best selling stock and seasonal favourites;
  • The overall state of the brewery and the maintenance of the brew plant;
  • You will have oversight of all aspects of the brew process including management of the canning, kegging and casking of the finished product;
  • Management of junior staff;
  • Responsible for the day-to-day running of the brewery from ordering supplies, equipment maintenance, stock management and local deliveries when required; and
  • You will provide support to the Sales team in representing the brewery at customer meetings and meet the brewer events.
After an initial induction period to become familiar with the beer range and brewery equipment, and provided that you show the right aptitude in your role, your responsibilities will increase to include greater oversight of the brewery. This role will become a key member of the Brewery Management team and will provide the right candidate with the opportunity for personal development as well as becoming an important part in the future success of the business.

The candidate

You will be a dynamic and responsible individual with experience of brewing (20BBL minimum), either as a Senior Brewer or a Junior Brewer in a larger brewery. You will be passionate about the craft brewery scene and in particular have had experience of brewing US style beers. Ideally you will have either started or be looking to undertake some studies in brewing husbandry with knowledge of the science behind brewing and yeast propagation. You are looking to take on additional responsibilities and are motivated to join a successful and fast growing brewery and to be come an integral part of the business. A self-starter, you will be able to demonstrate strong leadership ability and be comfortable taking ownership of the brewery output. Due to the physical nature of working in a brewery, you must be physically fit and able to lift and carry loads. We are looking for an individual with the following key qualities:
  • Lead by example, with a strong work ethic;
  • Ready to take on additional responsibility and have the motivation and confidence to push yourself to succeed;
  • Attention to detail;
  • A team player, happy to get stuck into all aspects of the brew day and to train junior staff;
  • Experience of developing new brews; and
  • Local to the SW12 area (an advantage).

Delivery Driver – Full Time

Roles and responsibilities

Reporting to the Director, you will have responsibility for:
  • Ensuring that the weekly order book is fulfilled to local and national accounts;
  • Updating stock levels;
  • Management of stock and empty cans and kegs; and
  • Delivering stock within and beyond the London area.

The candidate

The ideal candidate will be motivated, reliable and flexible and have:  
  • A passion for craft beer brewing;
  • A strong personality and able to represent the company in the market place;
  • London based;
  • Attention to detail and ability to learn quickly;
  • Due to the physical nature of working in a brewery, you must be physically fit and able to lift and carry loads;
  • A clean driving licence and a good knowledge of the London area.

Taproom Staff – Part Time

We are always on the lookout for well presented, enthusiastic bar staff who have a real passion for craft beer. As well as the opportunity to sell beer where it’s made and to get a real insight into the brewing process, this is also a great chance to get into a growing business as we expand the taproom hours and introduce events over the coming year.
