American Kegs @ the Tap!

Join us 6-9 December as we partner with  We Brought Beer! James Hickson has curated several American Kegs exclusively for our Taproom this weekend!

Here’s what’s on his list and a few notes from James:

Firestone Walker Luponic Distortion – 5.9%

I first tried this beer a couple of years back when they sent it to the UK for the first time and was blown away by it’s classic West Coast IPA hit of bitterness. Luponic Distortion is actually an ever changing beer – whilst the base remains the same each time, each new release features a different hop blend built around emerging and experimental cultivars—all designed to showcase the possibilities of pure hop aromas and flavors. The lead hops in No. 11 include cultivars from three different continents, providing distinct qualities of pineapple, guava and lemon drop.

Great Divide Yeti Imperial Stout – 9.5%:

In the land of imperial stouts, the Yeti is king! This was one of the first ever Imperial Stouts I tried so always holds a special place in my heart. But don’t just take my word for it – it’s a multi-award winner and scores a perfect 100 on RateBeer! Bursting with big, roasty, malty, caramel flavours, this stout also packs a surprisingly bitter punch due to it being packed full of American hops. Sip in 1/3rds or 2/3s in the Taproom snug, the perfect beer for the cold season.

Olde Hickory Death by Hops – 7%:

Death by Hops is another big hitting West Coast IPA (you can tell we like it bitter at We Brought Beer!). Big floral aroma and citrus notes burst out of the glass with this one whilst the 7% gives an ever so gently pleasant hit of alcohol warmth. Very rarely seen in the UK, this is not a beer you’ll want to miss out on.

Join Belleville Brewing Co and We Brought Beer Saturday to grab a flight and listen as we talk through these delicious brews!
